Social affairs

Generating prospects

Throughout his life, Rudolf Augstein found the fact that children were suffering nearly impossible to bear. We have therefore made it our goal to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people. Through our support, we endeavor to help children and adolescents realise their individual potential — regardless of origin, gender or personal limitations. We support charitable initiatives, mainly in Germany. For projects abroad, we actively approach potential funding partners.

We support institutions that seek to improve not only the health and education of children and youth but also their outlook on life. Institutions that provide care for terminally ill children and also those that strive to help children and families living in great poverty can receive our support. In particular, we support initiatives that create sustainable structures. It is especially important to us that projects are developed in a participatory manner and that those affected are empowered to help themselves.
